Day 8

Why not have a snack that looks spooky but is healthy?!
http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/carrot-finger-food-683529/
Vegetable dip
4 long carrots
1 medium carrot
softened cream cheese
sliced almonds
Fill a serving bowl with your favorite vegetable dip. With a paring knife, cut a flat, shallow notch in the tip of each carrot.
Then use a dab of dip or softened cream cheese to glue a sliced-almond fingernail atop each notch.  Stick the fingers in the dip, as shown, and serve with plenty of baby carrots for dipping.Wash and peel 4 long carrots for fingers and 1 medium carrot for a thumb.

Hark! Hark to the wind! 'Tis the night, they say,
When all souls come back from the far away-
The dead, forgotten this many a day!

FREE PRINTABLE!
Halloween Subway Art-
I just love these simple little art pieces!  Most of them that I have seen use vinyl lettering but some people don't have nifty cutting machines and so I decided to make a printable one.  The first version is just black lettering on a white background.  This one would be cute printed on a colored paper or just plain white paper.
The next one has colored words on a white background.

All you have to do is print it off and put it in a frame!
I picked this frame up at the dollar store.  I decided to paint it black.
If you are interested in the Word file, email me.  Then you can change the colors to whatever you want!
